The damage Tropicana Field sustained during Hurricane Milton reportedly is unlikely to be repaired in time for Opening Day. Here are some alternate venues the Tampa Bay Rays could consider for home games.

The Tampa Bay Rays may be looking for a temporary home stadium, at least for the start of the 2025 MLB season. The Rays are facing such uncertainties because of the extensive damage caused to Tropicana Field by the recent Hurricane Milton.

And given that Tropicana Field does not have any drainage system under the turf, the Rays can’t just clear the mangled roof and play in an open-air Trop while braving the humid summer conditions. They’ll have to play somewhere else in 2025 (and possibly beyond). Here are some of the options.
