KANNUR: P P Divya, who is embroiled in a controversy following the death of Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Naveen Babu, has been removed from the post of the president of the Kannur district panchayat.

Babu allegedly died by suicide after Divya levelled corruption allegations against him during his farewell party following his transfer to his home district of Pathanamthitta as Additional District Magistrate for the last few months of his government service.

Pathanamthitta: Allegations have emerged against the Kannur District Collector in connection with the death of ADM Naveen Babu. It is claimed that the Collector facilitated an opportunity to humiliate Naveen Babu by insisting on organizing a farewell meeting despite objections from Naveen Babu.
