Kusal Mendis and Kusal Perera scored half-centuries to guide Sri Lanka to a nine-wicket win in the third and final Twenty20 international and clinch their first-ever series victory over the West Indies.

Chasing 163 runs, the West Indies were bowled out for 89 in the 17th over, handing the hosts their largest win by runs against the West Indies.

As the T20I series between West Indies and Sri Lanka comes to it's closing stages, the two teams are tied with one win each and thus it is all to play for in the final game of the series. The first T20I was won by West Indies as they took a 1-0 lead in the series.

Openers Brandon King and Evin Lewis scored half-centuries and shared a 107-run stand in 55 balls to guide West Indies to a five-wicket win over Sri Lanka in the first of their three Twenty20 matches.

West Indies faced a top-order collapse and failed to utilise powerplay overs in the run chase as they were bowled out for 89 in Dambulla.
