Gaynor’s managers, Rene Reyes and Shane Rosamonda, confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that the actress died on Oct. 17 in Los Angeles of natural causes.

The effervescent peformer was known for appearing in Hollywood musicals including "There's No Business Like Show Business" and "Anything Goes" alongside Bing Crosby.

She was best known for starring in the 1958 screen version of “South Pacific.” But her Hollywood career was brief, and she soon shifted her focus to Las Vegas and TV.
