Reinhart, playing in his 700th NHL game, gave Florida a 3-2 lead at 9:39 of the second with a short-handed goal. Reinhart stripped the puck from Bruins forward Matthew Poitras, rushed toward the net and fired a shot on Swayman, who made the save. The rebound eventually came to back to Reinhart, who slid it under the Boston goalie.

MONTGOMERY SHAKES UP LINES — With Charlie Coyle, Brad Marchand and Morgan Geekie, all without a goal this year, Jim Montgomery shook up his middle six. He moved up Matt Poitras and Justin Brazeau to play with Marchand, while Coyle and Geekie slid down to play with Frederic.

Sam Reinhart scored on a power play and added a short-handed goal that gave the Florida Panthers the lead for good in the second period as the defending Stanley Cup champions beat the Boston Bruins 4-3 on on Monday afternoon.
