On New Japan Pro-Wrestling held their NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling event at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan. The event featured multiple title changes. Among others, KUSHIDA and Kevin Knight beat the Bullet Club War Dogs to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship.

G1 winner Zack Sabre Jr. challenges for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship today at NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling. IWGP Champion Tetsuya Naito puts his title on the line against Sabre in the main event, one of seven title matches set for the show. In the semi-main, IWGP Global Champion David Finlay defends against Hirooki Goto.

The concept of a wrestling promotion having "Four Pillars" existed long before AEW. All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) first used the term - which is derived from a collection of Buddhist gods - to describe the group of Toshiaki Kowada, Akira Taue, and the two subjects of this list, Kenta Kobashi and Mitsuharu Misawa.

Two other title changes also took place at King of Pro Wrestling. Ren Narita defeated Jeff Cobb and Yota Tsuji in a three-way match to win the NJPW World Television title. And KUSHIDA & Kevin Knight won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team title belts by dethroning Bullet Club War Dogs (Clark Connors & Drilla Moloney).
