On Sunday, music composer Anirudh Ravichander took to his official X handle to announce that nine tracks from his latest film as music director, Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan, are ready. He also mentioned the titles of these tracks and announced that the songs would be released soon.

At the Vettaiyan audio launch, Rajinikanth hailed Anirudh Ravichander as a rockstar, explaining the music director's vital role in enhancing his films. He also claimed that he was 1000 per cent sure that he wanted Anirudh for his film.

Sharing his excitement for Vettaiyan's release and his role in scoring the soundtrack, Anirudh also addressed the growing pressure surrounding his popular pre-release tweets.

After first collaborating in the 2019 Karthik Subbaraj film Petta, Anirudh Ravichander went on to compose for Rajinikanth films like Darbar, Jailer, and now, Vettaiyan.

Released on October 10, Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan' is a commercial success with Rs 76 crore on its opening day. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the action drama follows IPS officer Athiyan. The film's digital rights were bought by Amazon Prime for Rs 65 crore and will debut on the platform after a month.

Director Soundarya Rajinikanth watched her father Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan and shared her thoughts about the film. She complimented director TJ Gnanavel and composer Anirudh Ravichander and called the film a blockbuster.
