Rishabh Pant hurt his knee while wicketkeeping in the first innings against New Zealand at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. He walked off the field with the help of support staff and is unlikely to return for the rest of play on Day 2.

Rishabh Pant was seen walking back from the ongoing play against New Zealand after he seemingly injured his knee. It looks like Jadeja's delivery hit Pant on his knees, and he was wincing in pain. The BCCI's medical staff had to check on him and he had to wall back.
