ORLANDO, Fla. - On Monday evening, Tropical Storm Oscar was over Cuba’s eastern coast, bringing strong winds and rain. Oscar was moving toward the north-northwest near 7 mph and a turn toward the north-northeast was expected overnight, followed by a faster northeastward motion on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Off the coast of Belize, Nadine emerged; and southeast of the Bahamas, Oscar formed hours later on Saturday. Neither posed a threat to Texas.
