Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, Tata received wide admiration for his leadership and philanthropic work. His death occurred on Wednesday (Oct 9) in a Mumbai hospital, where he had been critically ill.

Ratan Tata, the scion of the illustrious Tata family, under his leadership as the chairman of the Tata Group, he put the company on the global map. The global enterprise has over 100 independent companies operating all over the world.
