Clemson football quarterback commit Blake Hebert flipped his commitment to Notre Dame on Monday. The four-star quarterback from Brunswick School in Greenwich, Connecticut, committed to the Tigers in June 2023.

Clemson's Week 8 depth chart had little changes. The Tigers take on Virginia on Saturday after defeating Wake Forest 49-14 last week.

Week 1 tends to produce a lot of overreactions. Overreactions about players. Overreactions about coaches. Overreactions about teams. Perhaps the biggest one revolved around Clemson. That ugly loss to Georgia led me to dismiss the Tigers.

With Clemson football's first four games of the season over, redshirt decisions are coming. Tigers who have not yet used a redshirt year can get one if they play in four games or fewer. Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney said Monday that the Tigers' losses might "lighten up the bandwagon." He stood by his comments Tuesday.

On October 13, 2008, Clemson named Dabo Swinney as their interim head coach. Swinney has gone on to be one of the best college football coaches of all time, helping the Tigers win national championships and competing for them year in and year out.
