The aurora borealis was seen across the country in October, but if you were tracking where you could view the northern lights, much of the prediction didn’t include states below Wyoming.

Colorado is expected to receive an Aurora Borealis light show tonight, October 10, and tomorrow night, October 11. It will be the second time the northern lights have hit Colorado in 2024 and the first showing since the spectacular display on May 10 and 11.

Northern lights dazzled skies across Colorado on Thursday. As the geomagnetic storm weakens, there’s a chance you could catch the colors Friday, too.
