A Russian YouTuber has reviewed what appears to be a M4 MacBook Pro, and now Russian security researchers have issued a security warning for Apple fans ahead of launch.

After appearing in a couple of unboxing videos, the M4 MacBook Pro is selling on the black market weeks before the official launch.

The leaked videos show the 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro with 512GB in Space Black — a color previously exclusive to the 16-inch model. It features three Thunderbolt 4 ports instead of the usual two and starts with 16GB of RAM. Under the hood, it’s powered by a 10-core variant of the new M4 chip.

Gurman called the potential leak “unprecedented,” a sentiment echoed by leaker ShrimpApplePro, who writes that “some seller” claimed to have 200 MacBook Pros in stock. “This is probably the biggest warehouse leakage I’ve ever seen,” they wrote. ShrimpApplePro had also posted some images last month of apparently leaked 14-inch MacBook Pro packaging:
