While the Kindle Paperwhite excels at delivering a premium reading experience, it offers even more than just books. Additionally, pairing it with Bluetooth headphones or speakers allows you to listen to your favorite audiobooks hands-free.

In the UK, the 2022 Kindle I had my eye on has apparently disappeared from the face of the earth, as has the more expensive Kindle Paperwhite I was considering stretching to if the price was right. The only good deal going this year is a £100 saving on Amazon's Kindle Scribe, which is still £229 and way more than I was hoping to pay.

The Kindle that lets you take handwritten notes is on sale for Amazon Prime Day. The 16GB model of the Kindle Scribe is currently $85 off and down to $255 instead of the usual $340. That's not an all-time low — the ereader hit $240 as recently as July's Prime Day — but this is the lowest price we've tracked since then.
