Jun 25, 2012 · The developers, themselves called London Array, are a joint venture company 50 per cent owned by DONG Energy, Denmark’s biggest energy company, which is itself 76 per cent owned by the Danish government. A further 30 per cent is owned by E.On Renewables and 20 per cent by Masdar, the Abu Dhabi state-owned renewable energy company.
Octopus raises the temperature with Cosy heat pump

Salary survey: What’s a UK engineer worth in 2022?

According to this year’s survey, which attracted responses from almost 800 engineers across 11 different sectors, the mean average salary for UK engineers now stands at £58k which marks a modest 2.3 per cent increase on last year’s figure.
Autophage rocket engine consumes plastic fuselage for fuel
Jan 10, 2024 · The autophage engine uses waste heat from combustion to sequentially melt its own plastic fuselage as it fires. It then feeds the molten plastic into the engine’s combustion chamber as additional fuel to burn alongside its regular liquid propellants.
